Description:

The Battlezone 2 Launcher is a front-end that lets you start Battlezone 2 with a lot of additional parameters e.g.:

  • Skip Intro movies
  • Enable Map Editor
  • Disable all Scripts
  • Record or Playback a session
  • Start in Poweruser and/or Benchmark mode
  • Change Benchmark settings
  • Change Rendering settings like Triple Buffering or Bump Mapping etc.
  • Start a network session as Server or Client

There's no installer, Helpfile or documentation in the package yet. Here's a screenshot.

Note: This is not a stand-alone product! You must have the original Battlezone 2 game from Activision™ with the patch version 1.1 installed on your computer.

  • adjust time- and leanscale
  • adjust RGB-coloring of the sky
  • access cheat codes like GOD and ALLWEAPONS
  • pre-load additional bots
  • change the rendering device and resolution used by AvP
  • select any level to play with any character

Description:

This handy little application combines most of the commandline switches for the popular FPS action game Half-Life into one comfortable user interface. You can start the game into any of the built-in SP-levels or launch your favorite add-on game (like TFC, Half-Life: UpLink, USS Darkstar etc.). The Launcher supports Presets so you can store up to 10 different sets of configuration settings. Additionally you can:

  • select the rendering engine
  • select the screen resolution
  • toggle between fullscreen and window mode
  • adjust the amount of RAM (physical memory) used by Half-Life
  • enable the games' console and developer mode
  • disable several parameters like Joystick, Network and DirectSound
  • skip the intro movies
  • set the server port
  • access some game-related control panel applets
  • adjust the skill level
  • specify additional commandline switches

Unreal Launcher

Description:

The Unreal Launcher is a kind of Front-end for the popular Action-3D game Unreal. You can start the game directly into one of the single- or multi-player levels. Additionally you can pass several of the most commonly used commandline switches like: Server- or Safe-mode, DirectX support, 3D Hardware acceleration, AMD-K6 and Intel-MMX support and more.

A lot of BETA Testers have sent in requests for additional features, which have been implemented in this second BETA version. You can now select the rendering device, the sound quality and a few other options. You may want to check out this screenshot.

Note: This is not a stand-alone product! You must have the original Unreal game from Epic Megagames™ installed on your computer along with the patch version 224 or higher.

The file you can download here is a self-extracting executable containing a Setup and uninstall program as well as a detailed Help file.
